About

Hi! I’m Andrea, owner of Bloom Flower Farm. We grow flowers and keep bees in Medical Lake, WA on our family farm, about 20 minutes from downtown Spokane. After the military and many moves around the country, we were thrilled to settle down in the Inland Northwest. My husband’s family has been keeping honeybees for generations, and we knew we wanted an opportunity to do this on a larger scale. I’ve been gardening and growing veggies and flowers everywhere I could, sometimes even at friend’s homes. In the different communities we have lived in, I’ve often bought flowers from roadside stands and u-picks; and recognized how much Joy a simple bouquet of flowers brought me. The farm gave us the opportunity to make our dreams a reality. We started with our bees, and then have been growing and building the flower farm over the last few years. This is what we want to share, that connection with Nature, with local farms and with flowers that are thoughtfully and sustainably grown and tended. From the earliest tulips in Spring, to the heirloom Chrysanthemums in late fall, flowers have a season where they are the best and brightest, and we can’t wait to share that with you.

Hi! I’m Andrea, owner of Bloom Flower Farm. We grow flowers and keep bees in Medical Lake, WA on our family farm, about 20 minutes from downtown Spokane.

After the military and many moves around the country, we were thrilled to be able to settle down in the Inland Northwest. My husband’s family has been keeping honeybees for generations, and we knew some day we wanted an opportunity to do this on a larger scale. I had been gardening and growing veggies and flowers wherever we moved, sometimes even at friend’s homes when we had no space of our own. In many places we lived, I had purchased flowers from roadside stands and u-picks, and recognized how much joy a simple bouquet of flowers brought me. I hoped that someday maybe we could do the same for others in our community.

The farm gave us the opportunity to make our dreams a reality. We started with our bees, and then have been growing and building the flower farm over the last few years. Our community has been so supportive and whether doing honeybee field trips with students, participating in the Dahlia festival, or supporting our local robotics team; the Inland Northwest has truly become our home.

This is what we want to share: a connection with all the beauty and joy of Nature, with local farms and with flowers that are thoughtfully and sustainably grown and tended. From the earliest tulips in Spring, to the heirloom Chrysanthemums and honey harvest in late fall, everything has a season when they are the best and brightest, and we can’t wait to share that with you.
